Is the TESLA Powerwall Worth It?

The costs of installing a Tesla Powerwall 2 come out to about $9,000. Is it worth it? Will the Powerwall pay for itself? What is the ROI? In this video, I carefully analyze my utility bill and a year’s worth of use data to make conclusions about my “investment”. I won’t spoil the ending in the comments.

If you are trying to financially justify the purchase of a Powerwall where you live, here are some questions to ask?
1. How will you be billed by your utility company as a solar customer?
2. How will rates change during the course of a year?
3. How much will the utility company pay you for energy you put into the grid?
