Bacon Cheeseburger Sloppy Joes

1 pound lean ground beef
4 bacon slices chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small yellow onion (diced)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 bell pepper chopped
1 tomato chopped
1/2 teaspoon of salt &black pepper(i used steak seasoning)
1 tablespoon steak sauce or Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon of mustard and ketchup
1 cup beef broth and 1 tablespoon cornstarch mix together
1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
6 hamburger buns
Garnish: pickles
Place a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and once hot add the bacon slices to the pan. Coon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
Drain grease, leaving in only about 2 tablespoons.
Add the ground beef, and brown until a deep brown crust appears on the bottom. Break it with a wooden spoon and continue cooking until no longer pink. Drain the fat.
Add the onion, garlic, bell peppers, chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the bacon and add it back to the pan.
Add seasonings, steak sauce, ketchup and mustard and stir to combine.
In a small bowl combine beef broth and cornstarch, until cornstarch is dissolved. Add the mixture to the pan.
Cook until the mixture until it slightly thickens, for about 2 minutes.
Turn off the heat, stir in the cheddar cheese and fold into the meat until just melted.
Served on hamburger buns topped with lettuce and pickles.
