Hopes & Fears: Gateway High School - Aurora, Colorado
Education
Published on Apr 29, 2023
Our Chief Implementation Officer, Asheena Baez, leads educators at Colorado-based, Gateway High School through an exercise called “hopes and fears.” What you’ll witness is teachers vulnerably bringing to the surface what keeps them up at night, as well as what keeps them returning back to the classrooms.
As we witness educators across the world struggle to discover new ways of teaching during the global pandemic, we want you to know how seen, felt and acknowledged you are. Your wellbeing matters — as a matter of fact, it’s the cornerstone of our approach to the Four Pillars of Wellbeing. What we’ve found is that when teachers are well, they are able to more powerfully teach and model what it means to be well to their students. We at the Contentment Foundation, are committed to serving and supporting you throughout your wellbeing journey.
The Contentment Foundation offers scientifically-evidenced wellbeing curricula to schools internationally. Our core curriculum, "The Four Pillars of Wellbeing," includes mindfulness, community, self-curiosity and contentment & balance.
