In US news and current events today, the coronavirus pandemic has prompted lockdowns and stay-at-home orders for non-essential businesses and workers across the U.S. But that hasn't stopped some people from holding lockdown protests and going out despite COVID-19.
A journalist for Colorado Community Media filmed a packed scene at C&C Coffee and Kitchen, which opened for Mother’s Day brunch amid COVID19. Every seat in the restaurant is taken and people congregated in close quarters while waiting for orders. Outside the restaurant, an armed ‘bouncer’ monitored a line out the door.
