Worried about COVID-19 in schools, some parents opt for ‘learning pods’

Many parents are forming their own learning pods outside formal school systems where parents or hired educators teach kids at home. Toronto mother Rachel Marmer started a Facebook group dedicated to learning pods, which has amassed more than 9,500 members in just a few weeks.
