Despite the valiant efforts of medical professionals across the world, the novel coronavirus has taken a deadly toll. Untold numbers of people have lost their lives to the pandemic, including a few famous faces. These are some of the celebrities who have tragically died from coronavirus.

Manu Dibango, a Cameroonian jazz artist whose celebrated career spanned decades, passed away from complications due to the coronavirus at the age of 86. The legendary multi-instrumentalist and songwriter died in a Paris hospital, according to a statement posted on his official Facebook page on March 24th.
