Robert Randolph, pedal and lap steel extraordinaire, came by the Reverb office to discuss his style of pedal steel and where it came from. Randolph begins with "Sacred Steel", a collection of pedal and lap steel gospel players that deeply influenced Robert as a child. His next influence is a little less traditional, Stevie Ray Vaughan.
